Salem County’s United Way along with Freeholders, mayors, departmental staff, civic and faith based leaders had the opportunity to hear Phil Mangano of the Interagency Council on Homelessness on March 13, 2008. United Way CEO’s Rebecca Purchase of Salem County and Dan Altilio of Hudson County introduced Mr. Managano. Mr. Mnagano’s comments focused not only on the importance of implementing the Salem County Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness but on the importance of the three R’s: research, resources and results.
