HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs announced today the availability of an online web-based training curriculum for e-snaps, HUD’s Homeless Assistance Application and Grants Management System. The only available training module at this time is on CoC Registration. This is a must view training for all of the leaders of the Continuums of Care.

This curriculum is comprised of a series of modules which will walk you through the online completion of the new electronic CoC application submittal process. Each training module is designed to take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Additional training will be available at a later date.
The key dates: May 1st is when the CoC Registration process opens. HUD will process CoC Registrations submitted on or before June 15th by no later than June 28th. June 30th is when your CoC must have confirmed the HHN amount in e-snaps. Your CoC will be prepared to start completing Exhibit 1 and reviewing Exhibit 2s submitted to your CoC in July. Neither a DUNS Number nor CCR registration are required for the CoC Registration process in e-snaps.
