Scott Fairman explains how to end homelessness at Congressional Reception

Government has an obligation to help end homelessness!

Not only housing but services required to end homelessness!

Scott Fairman was one of the sixteen speakers at the 2nd Annual . He mentioned his tour of Washington the evening prior to the event and being reminded that New Jersey has a commitment to “Liberty and Prosperity”. He explained that liberty means having the opportunity to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. He reiterated that the elected officials need to support efforts to end homelessness.

Mr. Fairman also spoke eloquently about his experience and his current activities working with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Trenton and the Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness.

More than two hundred formerly homeless people, passionate advocates and housing providers from across the state attended the July 30th event. In addition to Congressman Pascrell the event was attended by Senator Lautenberg and Congress members Holt, Pascrell and Ferguson also attended.
