On August 12, 2008, the Board of Chosen Freeholders of Passaic County unanimously endorsed the America’s Road Home Statement of Principles and Action. This America’s Road Home is spearheaded nationally the Interagency Council on Homelessness. It has also been a policy priority of the New Jersey Advocacy Network to End Homelessness. The seven endorsements more than doubles the total in New Jersey that had previously agreed to endorse the America’s Road Home Statement of Principles and Action.

Now that Passaic County has signed on they are eligible to receive funding from the America’s Road Home Foundation. The ARH Foundation will be actively promoting ending family homelessness at both political conventions. To learn more about the America’s Road Home Foundation click here.
