Congressman Ferguson, spoke with passion and vigor about the civic duty of citizens to communicate their concerns to their members of Congress. He noted he and other members are aware of the sacrifice that the attendees at the Congressional Reception had made to attend the event. He said “this has an enormous impact” and that he and the other members will listen to our message. He complimented those in attendance for their dedication to helping others and will be supportive of the policy issues that were raised.

More than two hundred formerly homeless people, passionate advocates and housing providers from across the state attended the July 30th event. In addition to Congressman Pascrell the event was attended by Senator Lautenberg Senator Menendez who hosted the event,Congress members Holt and Pascrell
