Extended at least thirty days
The HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) deadline has been extended for at least thirty days. The exact date will be determined by the date of publication in the Federal Register. It is not in the online version for September 10th.
Successful applicants are those who stay on schedule regardless of an extension. By doing this they have more time to focus on conducting a thorough review.
This is the official message form the SNAPS office.
The Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) intends to extend the deadline for the Continuum of Care (CoC) competition in order to address technical items in the new e-snaps system and to allow enough time for CoCs impacted by recent hurricanes and related power outages/evacuations to complete the application. The extended deadline will be published in the Federal Register as soon as possible, and will be no earlier than 30 days from today. As per our usual practice, SNAPS will send a listserv message when the Federal Register Notice is published.
