Homeless Solutions does videos to document NJ’s first
LEED Platinum affordable housing development
Our friend, Dan McGuire, the director of Headquarters Development affiliate of Homeless Solutions provided us with the first of a series of videos they have mede to document the green building process for their Drakestown Road Apartments in Washington Township, Morris County.
If all goes as planned, this will be the first LEED Platinum affordable housing development in NJ.
The first installment—“groundbreaking”—was finished last week.
In the months to come, the videos will be more technical (i.e. “insulated concrete forms”). We are sure that these will provide people with information and insights about incorporating more green elements in their planning, construction and operation.
In late August or early September we will publish the next installment.
