House to Host Congressional Briefing on
Homelessness Among Veterans

The Congressional Caucus on Homelessness will present a briefing entitled “Ending Veterans Homelessness” to members of the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday, October 5. As advocates we need to urge members of the New Jersey House delegation to attend the briefing.

Presenters will include providers, a consumer, and a representative from the Administration. They will discuss local efforts to end homelessness among veterans and proven solutions being implemented at the community level. This briefing will illustrate what is working and initiatives that will help the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs meet its goal of ending homelessness among veterans in five years. If you plan to invite your representatives to attend the briefing, please contact Kate Seif.
