Housing first ends homelessness
We are pleased to offer video of the four presenters from Bergen County Community College’s Institute for Public Policy forum “Informing the New Jersey Discussion – Ending Homelessness Challenges & Solutions.” Yesterday we published an overview of this successful event. We are also pleased to provide a link to the Paramus Patch, which reported on the forum. The videos will be beneficial to those developing housing first initiatives in their communities.
The four presenters included:
- Dr. Sam Tsemberis, founder & CEO, Pathways to Housing;
- Lisa Stand, senior analyst for program and policy, National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH);
- Tom Toronto, president, Bergen County’s United Way; and
- Julia Orlando, director, Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services Center.
