HUD Hosts January ESG and CoC Webinars

Webinars on January 10th and 17th

HUDOn Tuesday, January 10, 2012 and Tuesday, January 17, 2012, will host two informational webinars covering the General Program Requirements for ESG and the Checkup Assessment.

These two trainings are part of the weekly Ready, SET, Go! webinar series that provides comprehensive information for Continuums of Care (CoCs), administrators, grantees, project sponsors and other stakeholders on a variety of topics. More details about the upcoming webinars are listed below.

The General Program Requirements For ESG webinar will be hosted on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This webinar will continue to review the program with a discussion of general grant administrative requirements. Webinar topics will include general program requirements, match, deadlines for the obligation and use of funds, and an overview of recordkeeping and reporting requirements. There are no prerequisites from this webinar and it is limited to 1,000 participants. To register, click here.

The CoC Check-up: Next Steps webinar will be hosted on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Continuum of Care (CoC) Check-up self-assessment stage is coming to a close and CoCs are now preparing for next steps in the Check-up process. The CoC Check-up is designed to help CoCs determine their current capacity and performance and the degree to which CoCs are prepared for implementation. Upon completing the self-assessment, CoCs will develop final self-ratings and a CoC action plan to guide CoC capacity and performance improvements. This webinar will provide an overview of next steps for CoCs, including a review of self-assessment reports, new HDX reports, self-assessment tools, the CoC Action Plan template, and related instructions for completing the CoC Check-up.
