by Kate M. Kelly on January 17, 2012
January 24th 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m
On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., HUD is hosting an interactive webinar providing an overview of HUD-VASH policies and requirements. This session is designed mostly for staff from public housing authorities and Veterans Affairs medical centers that are new to the program and/or staff that need a refresher. Topics covered will include:
- HUD-VASH goals and objectives
- general information on VA case management
- HUD-VASH voucher operating requirements
- project-basing HUD-VASH vouchers, and
- frequently asked questions.
The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA). VA provides these services for participating veterans at VA medical centers (VAMCs) and community-based outreach clinics.
This webinar is limited to 1,000 participants, so please register ASAP! Click here to register.
