MHANJ and Monarch’s Partnership
On Tuesday, June 19, 2012, the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) will host its 13th annual “Evening of Excellence” Awards Dinner at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The annual event celebrates individuals and corporations in New Jersey that contribute to the lives of those with mental illness.
This year, Richard Brown, Monarch’s Chief Executive Officer of 21 years, is one of the Golden Bell Leadership Award recipients. We are very pleased that Richard’s years of leadership in New Jersey’s affordable and supportive housing community will be honored.
Monarch and MHANJ have worked as partners to develop supportive housing since 1990 and Richard’s award highlights our work to expand the supply, accessibility, and variety of affordable, permanent supportive housing through development, planning, advocacy, and partnerships.
Other honorees include:
- Philanthropist of the Year – Kevin Cummings, President & Chief Executive Officer, Investors Bank.
