Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness

The Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness is seeking to fill the full-time position, System Monitor/Analyst. They hope to have this position filled for a start date between October 15 and November 1, 2012.

The Mercer Alliance has been facilitating a major system change since 2008, emphasizing prevention and permanent housing, working with ’s government entities and non-profit provider agencies. The system has adopted the approach known as /Rapid Rehousing: quickly moving homeless families and individuals to a home of their own and assisting them to achieve long-term housing stability, through employment or subsidized income. The System Monitor/Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Alliance and the Trenton/Mercer Continuum of Care in this system change.

This position requires someone who is comfortable shifting easily between operational, programmatic and analytic roles. It requires a person who understands data as a tool of policy and can effectively communicate the story that data tells.

It is highly desirable that a person in this position have:

  1. Experience with governmental policy and service delivery in the area of homelessness, including The Homeless Information Management System
  2. Experience with RFP development
  3. Experience working with broad-based committees and work groups
  4. Experience with communicating a change agenda

Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
