Partnerships Can Serve Chronically Homeless VeteransOn Friday, September 21, 2012, is hosting a webinar entitled, Building Community Partnerships to Effectively Serve Veterans Experiencing Chronic Homelessness. The session will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This webinar will cover for serving Veterans experiencing chronic through partnerships established by Veteran Administration Medical Centers (VAMCs) and Authorities (PHAs) with community organizations. HUD, and United States () have found that including local Continuums of Care (CoCs) as key partners in the implementation of HUD- has been extremely important for VAMCs and PHAs that are quickly and stably housing chronically homeless Veterans.

Speakers presenting during the webinar include:

  • Experts on chronic homelessness and programs; and
  • Representatives from three HUD-VASH sites discussing how they have effectively partnered with CoCs and homeless service providers in order to better serve the most vulnerable Veterans and to ultimately end Veteran homelessness in their communities.
