Partners Encouraged to Submit Comments to HUD by Oct 1
On September 10, 2012,the National Alliance to End Homelessness (the Alliance) published a draft version of its comments on the interim regulation for the Continuum of Care (CoC) program. The interim rule went into effect on August 30, 2012.
However, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will accept comments until Monday, October 1, 2012. HUD will take public comments into consideration when crafting a final regulation for the program.
In the Alliance’s draft comments, it makes recommendations and provides HUD with feedback regarding key aspects of the interim CoC rule. The Alliance has published draft comments to the interim rule in order to assist its partners in submitting comments and to solicit feedback about our comments.
