Supportive Housing Conference March 2013 in Philadelphia
The Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) is hosting its first annual Eastern Region Supportive Housing Conference on March 7-8, 2013 in Philadelphia. The conference will provide critical training and education opportunities to supportive housing providers and developers, government agencies and philanthropy based along the east coast.
This two-day conference will be energizing and educational. You will have the opportunity to take advantage of the combined expertise of CSH and our industry partners in all aspects of supportive housing and:
- Join housing developers, social service agencies, and government partners to create partnerships and knowledge networks,
- Advance your knowledge about the latest best practices, research, and innovations,
- Engage in discussions on topics ranging from state of the art targeting of veterans homelessness resources, advanced response to changes in HEARTH, to cutting edge integration of housing with healthcare, and
- Acknowledge colleagues who are achieving excellence in supportive housing.

Kate Kelly joined Monarch Housing Associates in March of 2011. Prior to that, she worked for seven years at the Partnership for Strong Communities in Hartford, Connecticut as the Reaching Home Campaign Manager. Managing the statewide effort to end long-term homelessness, Kate effectively implemented statewide advocacy campaigns to fund over 700 new supportive housing units for individuals and families. She has experience directing fundraising events and presenting federal and state conferences. At the Partnership, she educated state and federal legislators and staff about supportive housing homelessness issues and advocated for new funding sources. She has also developed public forums that led to formal policy recommendations and educated local constituencies such as policymakers, legislators and funders. Ms. Kelly received her B.A. in government from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S.W from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Click here to send Ms. Kelly an email.
