normal CapeFreeholderAs Counties across New Jersey prepare to host Project Homeless Connect events on January 29, 2008, Cape May County has found new and innovative partnerships. For the up-coming Project Homeless Connect event, the Cape May Board of Social Services has secured donations from:

State Farm Insurance Agency,
Boy Scout Troop #56,
Local Avon Representatives,
Green Creek Methodist Church,
Sun Bank, and
Soroptimist International

These donors will provide much needed toiletries, hats and gloves to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. In addition, State Farm Insurance Agency has donated seventy-five (75) cloth bags that will be used to hold the gifts and information to be provided to individuals and families seeking help and information at the Project Homeless Connect Event. Cape May County will host Project Homeless Connect at the First Baptist Church in Wildwood from 9am – 4pm.
