More than eight (80) leaders from the Continuums of Care in New Jersey spent December 10, 2007 networking and learning new skills that will assist them in making 2008 the most successful year in the effort to end homelessness in NJ. The participants learned about the upcoming Point in Time survey, performance measurements, how to project need and the current status of the NJ HMIS Collaborative.
The morning session included a panel on how to work with the press. On the panel were:
Angela Delli Santi [Email address: ADSanti #AT# ap.org - replace #AT# with @ ], Statehouse Correspondent from the Associated Press
Greg Zanoni [Email address: Gregzanoni #AT# aol.com - replace #AT# with @ ], President, WZBN TV - Capital News Station
Both provided numerous suggestions on how to build a partnership with mainstream media. Among these was to use the AP Day Book [Email address: APTrenton #AT# ap.org - replace #AT# with @ ] to list upcoming events. To listen to this presentation click here. ![]()
