Continuum of Care

The Ending Homelessness Team at Monarch Housing Associates works with communities across the state of New Jersey in preparing the annual Continuum of Care applications. Each application prepared by the Ending Homelessness Team is the final product of the individual County’s unique, year long planning process in which Monarch is intricately involved. Monarch Housing Associates has worked with counties since 2004 and currently prepares Continuum of Care applications for thirteen (13) of the twenty (20) submitting counties in New Jersey.

In 2008, sixty-five (65%) of the $34,172,333 total award for New Jersey was received by counties working with Monarch Housing Associates. Of the forty (40) new projects approved thirty-four (34) or eighty-five (85%) were in the counties working with Monarch Housing Associates. The $8,691,950 in new funding will provide supportive housing for one hundred sixty-two (162) homeless individuals and families. To view all of the new awards in these counties click here.
