The Corporation for Supportive Housing has received funding from the Partnership to End Long-Term Homelessness, with the goal of helping communities create supportive housing through grants, technical assistance, capacity building, systems reform, and other related activities. Through the Partnership, CSH has provided grant funding to the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey to further this goal by providing technical assistance and capacity building through “scholarships†to participate in it’s Business Planning for Non-Profit Developers Course to 5 non-profit special needs housing developers. As a result of training received as a result of this grant to HCDNNJ, the developers will increase the number of affordable units in their production pipeline, increase their capacity, decrease dependence on grants for operations, and establish a learning community of peers to share progress, challenges and “best practices.â€
Attached please find the CSH Request for Letters of Interest for participation in this training opportunity. Please note that the submission deadline for Letters of Interest is Thursday, February 15, 2007.
