On March 19th, HUD released its preliminary pro rata need for NJ.
The total pro rata need for NJ is now $26,544,316. This is an increase of $267,569 over last year’s amount. Because the Samaritan Bonus is based on a percentage of the pro rata need, the total bonus amount is $40,135 above the amount for 2006.
The maximum award for NJ if all projects were funded for the pro rata need and the bonus would be $30,525,963.
