On October 4, 2010, HUD published the Final Fair Market Rents for the Housing Choice Voucher Program and Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program Fiscal Year 2010 in the Federal Register. This notice provides the final Fair Market Rents that took effect on October 1, 2010.
The FMR’s for Monmouth, Ocean and Warren were increased from the preliminary numbers released on August 4, 2010. Click here to read that post and compare the changes.
Bergen and Passaic had the largest increases especially for three and four bedroom units.
Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean and Somerset also had increases.
Essex, Morris, Sussex, and Union had decreases of almost 4%.
More modest decreases are projected in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hudson, Salem and Warren.
