At the National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) Conference, Peter Qualliotine with the Youth Cares Bridge Program in Seattle presented a training on increasing awareness and the capacity of service providers to identify, engage, and respond to the Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) of youth involved in prostitution. CSE is a global problem that manifests differently depending on the economic, cultural and social context.

Training topics included:

  1. framework and cultural context of commercial sexual exploitation,
  2. pathways into prostitution, engagement and safety planning, and
  3. mental health and trauma bonding.
