Five events focus on ending homelessness
On Tuesday, December 20, 2011 and Wednesday, December 21, 2011, two of the longest shortest days, with the longest days of the year, six communities across New Jersey held memorials and vigils to remember individuals experiencing homelessness who passed away over the last year.
As we move forward into a new year, please hold on to these images of the memorials and keep the homeless and the solutions to homelessness in your thoughts not just as we celebrate the holiday season but all year long.
This is a slideshow of the vigils that took place in Bergen, Hudson and Atlantic counties. Click here to view the photos on Facebook.
