The Senate briefing will take place at 11:00 a.m. in Room 562 of the Dirksen Senate office building. Senator Robert Menendez is the sponsor of the Senate hearing. The House briefing will take place in Room 441 of the House Cannon Office Building at 2:00 p.m.
Sequestration is scheduled to take effect in January and would make deep cuts to HUD’s affordable housing and community development programs.
Sterner and the other three panelists will present data on and discuss the national and local impacts that these HUD cuts would have on households living in affordable housing and served by community development programs.
