Limited Seats Remain to Watch Hearing Call today to reserve a seat!
On Wednesday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m., the New Jersey Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments in the case challenging the Third Round COAH Rules, the most important fair housing case in New Jersey in three decades. The arguments will be held at the Hughes Justice Complex in Trenton.
With 60,000 families, seniors, and people with special needs living in homes that resulted from the Mount Laurel decision and another 40,000 homes in the pipeline, the stakes could not be higher.
The Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey (the Network) is asking everyone who has been impacted by the positive effects of the affordable home opportunities, to write a letter to the editor to their local newspapers right away! The Mount Laurel decision has opened doors for so many who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance a safe, decent, affordable home.
While is important to have a strong showing at the Court during the hearing on November 7, unfortunately space is very limited. If you plan on attending, please call the Court at 609-292-9580 right away and tell them that you want to attend the COAH argument on Nov. 7 at 10 am. Please note: the Court will not accept a list of names, each person must sign up individually.
If you have successfully been added to the viewing list, please email Arnold Cohen at the Network.
