The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Authority (HMFA) will be hosting the event, “Housing the Olmstead Population” on both Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Please note that this is a change in time for the January 31 date.) The two dates are available so that you can choose to attend either one. The presentations will be the same on both days.
The events will take place at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, 637 South Clinton Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey.
As background, the Olmstead Population consists of individuals with psychiatric, physical and/or developmental disabilities who are either returning to the community from an institution or are at risk of being placed in an institution.
The presentations will include:
Updates and current information about the Olmstead Population; and
An overview of available rental assistance and supportive services and resources that may benefit both landlords and residents.
Staff from HMFA as well as the Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Divisions of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and Developmental Disabilities (DDD) will be on-hand to respond to your questions.

To get to our Hudson Street lot from the main HMFA building, make a left onto Dye Street. Go to the light and turn right onto S. Clinton Ave. At the next light, turn left onto Hudson Street. Parking lot entrance is on the left.
