Please Save the Date to join the Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness (Mercer Alliance) and Monarch Housing Associates (Monarch) on Friday, May 17, 2013 for a one-day conference, “Changing the System to End Family Homelessness.”
Workshop topics will include:
How Systems Change Works,
How Rapid Re-Housing Works, and
How Data Can Promote Systems Change.
The conference will take place at Bristol Meyers Squibb, 777 Scudders Mill Road in Plainsboro from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The day will include registration and continental breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch, a welcome from key HUD and state government officials, and workshops with expert panels throughout the day.
Speakers from the Mercer Alliance, Monarch Housing and other NJ counties, along with national experts, will participate in the workshops and share lessons learned and best practices. There will also be time for conversations around exploring the possibilities of systems change in local counties across the state and the next steps for moving forward with systems change and rapid re-housing in these local communities.
Space is limited to 100 attendees and workshop content will be targeted to Continuum of Care leaders, county and local government and other public funders.
