2012 NOFA Applications Submitted

Monarch and Partners Submit 3% of Country’s Applications

Monarch HousingMonarch Housing Associates would like to congratulate the fourteen (14) Continuums of Care that it worked with to submit their annual applications for McKinney Vento funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA.)

Monarch worked with:

    2. Camden
    3. Cape May
    4. Cumberland
    5. Gloucester
    6. Hudson
    7. Mercer
    8. Middlesex
    9. Monmouth
    10. Morris
    11. Ocean
    12. Passaic
    13. Somerset
    14. Warren-Hunterdon-Sussex

These applications make up 3.2% of all of the applications submitted across the country and we look forward to the funding award announcement. The applications for the 2012 NOFA were not actually due until 2013 and were submitted on Friday, January 18, 2013.

The 2012 NOFA brought with it major changes including that HEARTH regulation implementation made the process new and more competitive.

This is the first application to be issued since the HEARTH regulations have been implemented and it placed a strong emphasis on CoCs being ready to implement the HEARTH Act.
