Ocean County contains the majority of damaged homes in New Jersey, holding 32% of the state total. It also exhibits intense concentration of damage, as it holds almost half of the state’s concentrated damaged homes.
Monmouth County contains the most intense flooding in the state. While Monmouth only houses 18% of the state’s total damaged homes, it has 36% of the state’s most severely flooded homes with flood levels greater than four feet. The county also holds almost a quarter of the state’s damaged homes in concentrated neighborhoods.
