Overview of Supportive Housing Fund
On Tuesday, April 9, 2013,the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) is hosting a Special Needs Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Overview Information Session.
The session will take place at the HMFA offices at 637 South Clinton Avenue in Trenton.
The proposed CDBG-DR Action Plan includes the creation of the Supportive Housing Assistance Relief Program (SHARP) fund. This fund will be administered by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, Division of Supported Housing and Special Needs and is expected to provide $25 Million in CDBG-DR funding to provide quality, permanent supportive housing, and expand housing options for special needs populations severely impacted by Superstorm Sandy.
Join HMFA for an overview of the Fund’s proposed Supportive Housing Assistance Relief Program (SHARP) as well as the program components that include leveraging CDBG-DR funds with other HMFA financing programs.
The event schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast
- 9:30 a.m. – Main Program and Q&A Session
- 12:00 p.m. – Training Session Ends
