Virginia Rapidly Re-Houses 545 Families

31 Organizations Collaborate with the Alliance

545 Families Have a Place to Call HomeAs part of a 100 Day Rapid Re-Housing Challenge, 31 organizations in Virginia working with the National Alliance to End Homelessness (the Alliance) have housed 545 families in just 100 days.

The Alliance’s capacity-building experts have been working with the organizations as part of its Learning Collaborative Initiative since October 17, 2013. This collaborative has been an effort to assist organizations in placing as many homeless families as possible in permanent housing.

The 545 families housed represent a 52% increase in the rate of re-housing among these organizations compared to rates before the challenge.

We can do the same or better in NJ. We are ready, willing and able to be part of a NJ 100 Day Rapid Re-Housing Challenge. Let’s establish a goal and work together to make it happen.
