National Summit on Youth Homelessness

Helping Homeless Youth at the Federal Level

NN4Y Summit on Youth HomelessnessOn Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25, 2014, the National Network for Youth (NN4Y) is hosting a National Summit on Youth Homelessness.

This 2-day event will focus on the urgent and unique needs of homeless youth in America and the federal response that is needed. With our nation’s capital as a backdrop, NN4Y invites members of congress to come speak about the work they are doing to prevent and provide safety and healing for our nation’s homeless youth.

They will also be facilitating a discussion with several federal agencies to discuss collaboration and problem-solve some administrative procedures that hamper communities’ ability to care for homeless youth.

As tireless advocates and allies for these youth, your attendance will grant you the opportunity to not only network with colleagues from across the country, but also meet with lawmakers one-on-one to advocate for effective federal policies and youth-appropriate resources.
