2014 Health Center and Public Housing Symposium
From Outreach to Quality Care
The National Center for Health in Public Housing and Community Health Partners for Sustainability are joining forces from Tuesday, June 10, 2014 to Thursday, June 12, 2014 to host a two and half day training event “Engaging Residents of Underserved Communities: From Outreach to Quality Care.” The event will take place at The Westin Alexandria in Virginia.
This 2014 Health Center and Public Housing Symposium will bring together public housing primary care grantees and other safety-net providers to discuss the importance of outreach, quality care and community engagement in improving healthcare of residents of underserved communities.
“Engaging Residents of Underserved Communities: From Outreach to Quality Care” will offer:
- Examination of larger trends facing healthcare centers and public housing advocates during our plenary session
- In-depth analysis of HRSA’s 19 healthcare center program requirements for current and future grantees during breakout sessions
- Sharing of innovative programs and best-practices from health centers, housing programs and social services agencies from around the country
- Free one-on-one consultation with industry experts
