Homelessness Awareness Week

National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness WeekNational Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week (#NHHAW) is right around the corner and will take place November 15 – 23, 2014.

Monarch Housing is one of the groups across the country that had an early start through participating in the November 8 Love Notes Jazz Marathon to End Homelessness.

Join Monarch Housing Associates in “donating” a social media post and NHHAW could become a trending topic!

Together we can make sure hunger and homelessness is on the minds of every one of our peers as we move into a very challenging time of year for people who live in poverty.

Participating in National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week not only brings greater awareness to your community, but also helps to promote the national endeavor to end hunger and homelessness.

The plight of those without a home, or those living in poverty, can be both lonely and difficult. Addressing their struggles by organizing and participating in this week may bring greater solidarity and understanding, as well as promote future involvement in local and national campaigns.
