Showcasing What Works in
NJ’s Emerging Neighborhoods
On Wednesday, March 4 through Friday, March 6, 2015, the People & Places Community Conference will take place in Washington, D.C. Community-based organizations from every corner of the country will showcase the effectiveness, resolve, and passion of those working daily to improve lives in America’s most challenged neighborhoods.
The National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations, National Alliance of Latino Community Asset Builders, the National Urban League, and National Coalition of Asian Pacific American Community Development are hosting the conference in partnership with state and regional associations across the United States.
The New Jersey Housing and Community Development Network (the Network) will be in attendance and encourages others from New Jersey to join them.
The Conference committee is currently accepting proposals for speakers, panels and workshops that showcase what is working in our country’s emerging neighborhoods. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 9, 2015.
Submissions from individuals and organizations with and without connections to the host organizations are welcome. This is the perfect opportunity to share your best work with your peers from across the country. Let’s show our peers nationally what’s working in New Jersey!
