President’s 2016 Budget Proposal
Will Highlight Funding Priorities
On Thursday, February 5 at 12 p.m., the National Alliance to End Homelessness (the Alliance) will host its annual webinar on the President’s fiscal year (FY) 2016 Budget Proposal. It is expected that the Budget Proposal will be released Monday, February 2.
The Budget Proposal reflects the Administration’s funding priorities for the upcoming fiscal year and is meant to provide information and recommendations to Congress as it moves through the federal appropriations process.
The webinar will provide an overview of the federal budget process and an analysis of the President’s FY 2016 Budget Proposal. Presenters from the Alliance will summarize and analyze the Administration’s proposed funding levels for affordable housing and homelessness programs.
Monarch Housing Associate is a proud participant in the Alliance’s work to increase funding for HUD’S McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants. In conjunction with the webinar, the Alliance will also launch its FY 2016 McKinney Campaign to increase McKinney-Vento funding.
