New Jersey’s Agency Remains to Be Designated
On February 13, 2015, the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) posted details about the process by which a state is to notify HUD which state agency has been designated to administer the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF.)
Within 30 days, each state is required to inform HUD if it intends to be a #NHTF grantee, and the name of and contact at the agency designated to administer the NHTF. States are encouraged to make the designation in advance and notify HUD prior the deadline. NJ has not designated an agency. The deadline is March 15, 2015.
HUD reports it expects to post the amounts of the formula allocation for each state in April 2016.
