Housing Choice Voucher Funding Should Be Priority in Congress

Urge Senators Booker and Menendez to Sign Senate
FY 2016 THUD Dear Colleague Letter

Funding Housing Choice Vouchers in FY 2016U.S. Senators Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) are circulating a sign-on letter in the Senate in support of providing:

  • $21.1 billion for Section 8 Tenant-Based Rental Assistance in FY 2016 and
  • $2.480 billion for McKinney programs.

The deadline for U.S. Senators to sign on to the letter is this Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
