Rapid Re-housingThe United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) issued a brief examining how communities can draw on funding from mainstream programs like human services agencies, child welfare agencies, and housing agencies to support rapid re-housing.

Currently, most communities rely on federal funding specifically targeted at addressing homelessness to fund rapid re-housing. Examples of mainstream funding resources include: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), HOME, and the Promoting Safe and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG.)

This brief provides support for the need to #SaveHOME funding and urge Congress to restore HOME (Investment Partnerships) program funding to at least $1.06 billion.
