Governor’s Conference Celebrates Supportive Housing
On Tuesday, September 20, 2016, Promise House received a Governor’s Excellence in Housing and Economic Development Award.
Promise House is operated by Triple C Housing and is located in New Brunswick. It provides 10 supportive housing apartments for individuals with special needs who are at risk of experiencing homelessness.
Promise House is a multifamily building with 7 studio units and 3 one-bedroom units as well as a unit for a site superintendent. It has a community room, space for services and property management, a laundry room and patio. The site is within close proximity of downtown New Brunswick.
Monarch Housing Associates served as the housing consultant for the project and worked with the development team to coordinate the development process, including assistance with the funding agencies.
Monarch assisted Triple C Housing during the construction of the project, attending construction meetings, tracking overall budgets, reviewing change orders and requisitions.
The Award was presented in conjunction with the New Jersey’s Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development.
