Meet with NJ’s Congressional Representatives About Housing Issues

Concerned About Federal Housing Issues? Come & Be Heard in Washington, DC

Concerned about federal housing issues? Join the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey (the Network) in Washington, DC on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 for 2018 Housing Lobby Day.

This annual Lobby Day includes visits with the New Jersey Congressional delegation as part of the National Low Income Housing Coalition Lobby Day. Monarch Housing will be attending Lobby Day happening in conjunction with the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) Housing Policy Forum March 19-20, 2018 at the Washington Court Hotel.

The Network is organizing New Jersey advocates and consumers to meet with New Jersey’s Congressional representatives about housing issues.

As the new Congress begins, it is critical that New Jersey’s delegation hear directly from Garden State residents about ways the federal government can help solve the housing crisis.

The Network will schedule the meetings, prepare materials and provide training for participants. The Network will help coordinate transportation if needed. All we need is you! Join the Network in DC at noon and be on the road home by 4:00 pm. There is no charge to participate.

The 2018 Lobby Day is the culmination of NLIHC’s Policy Forum. The Housing Policy Forum will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage with leaders from Capitol Hill and the Administration on the state of affordable homes in the changing post-election landscape. The Policy Forum will explore emerging challenges, opportunities, and policy solutions.
