In 1991, Richard began his long-time career with Monarch as its first CEO. He has led the effort to ensure that every one of our neighbors has access to quality affordable, permanent housing that fosters freedom, independence and community integration.
Over the course of his career at Monarch, Richard led and championed many initiatives in New Jersey such as Project Homeless Connect, Homeless Persons Memorial, Housing First, new funding streams for housing development and encouraging service providing agencies to expand to housing services. Under Richard’s leadership Monarch expanded activities in housing development, homeless planning and advocacy to advance the efforts of ensuring the availability of independent housing for all.
