Register Today and Help Let Your Elected Officials Know that Opportunity Starts at Home

Registration has opened for the July 24, 2019 Congressional Reception in Washington, D.C.! We hope that you will register today to join us on Capitol Hill.

The Congressional Reception provides an opportunity to remind policymakers about the necessity of public policies and funding to end homelessness and create affordable housing.
Prior to registering for the event, we recommend you use this link to confirm which of New Jersey’s twelve Congressional districts you live in and work in.  You will be asked to include your congressional districts in your registration.

Buses will travel down and back to Washington, D.C. on July 24, 2019.  You may make your own travel arrangements to D.C. that day but even if you do not plan to travel on the buses, you must register for the event. This will help with our final count for lunch which is provided at the Congressional Reception.
Roundtrip bus transportation will be provided from one of the New Jersey locations to DC and back. The $10 bus fee helps offset the total cost of the Reception. Please contact Kate Kelly at kkelly@monarchhousing.or let us know if you are unable to pay the bus fee but would still like to travel by bus to D.C. on July 24.
This year, the theme for the Congressional Reception is Opportunity Starts at Home: Building a Necessary and Secure Foundation for Healthy Communities. Attendees will remind elected officials that housing is a right, housing is healthcare, and housing creates healthy communities. To learn more about our specific policy priorities for this year’s Reception, please visit our 2019 Federal Policy Priorities page.
