Why Attend the Congressional Reception: Staci Berger

We need you to attend this year’s Congressional Reception!

Staci Berger, President and CEO of Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey (HCDNNJ), is hoping you will come to the Congressional Reception this year.  Your attendance will make sure our elected officials in Washington, D.C. fully understand the importance of having a home.

“It is a really terrific event, lots of motivating stories from people who really had their lives changed from having access to homes they can afford.”

Staci Berger

HCDNNJ is the state partner for the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s (NLIHC) Opportunity Starts at Home campaign.  Opportunity Starts at Home is part of the theme for this year’s Congressional Reception – Opportunity Starts at Home: Building a Necessary and Secure Foundation for Healthy Communities.

HCDNNJ is a non-profit organization that has been a long-standing Congressional Reception sponsor for the past couple of years. HCDNNJ works to strengthen their capacity to create housing and revitalize distressed neighborhoods throughout New Jersey. They provide a variety of programs and services which include policy and advocacy, technical assistance and training, housing resources, neighborhood toolkit, neighborhood revitalization tax programs, network conference, sandy resources, housing counseling and fair housing.
