$3,000 Grant from Investors Bank Foundation Continues Support of Monarch Housing’s Work
The Investors Bank Foundation made a $3,000 grant to Monarch Housing in 2019.
The grant was used to sponsor a two-day Building Racial Equity in our Homeless Service Systems: A Conversation on Race and Homelessness summit. This project was proudly supported by a grant from Investors Foundation.
The Investor’s Foundation grant and the October 2019 Building Racial Equity in our Homeless Service Systems supports Monarch’s work to ensure that every person has quality affordable, permanent supportive housing that fosters freedom, independence and community integration,
“We are very grateful for Investor’s generous and continued support of Monarch Housing,” said Monarch Housing Associates’ CEO Taiisa Kelly. The Summit introduced participants from across New Jersey to core concepts of racial equity and to the intersection of homelessness and racism. It laid the groundwork and built momentum for collaboration on statewide systems transformation oriented toward addressing racial inequity in the homeless service systems.
In 2020, Monarch Housing Associates is celebrating 30 years of working to ensure every person in the state has access to housing and supportive service opportunities that foster independence and choice.”
