The Home for all New Jerseyans: A Plan to Create Housing for Residents with Special Needs and to End Homelessness remains the blueprint for both the short-term and long-term solution.
We know that’s happening down the shore where something like 64 percent of folks were unable to find an affordable rental home in Monmouth County. It was even higher in Ocean County.
The plan provides for $25 million for the Sandy Special Needs Housing Fund dedicated to the construction of quality, permanent supportive housing as well as $25 million for supportive services.
