All members of the NJ Congressional delegation voted in favor of the Continuing Resolution except for Congressmen Scott Garrett and Chris Smith.
NJ’s delegation voted along party lines with Representative Chris Smith (R-4) voting “no” along with all of the Democrats on the FY16 THUD Budget.
On the Ryan budget, all of NJ’s House Democrats voted no along with Congressman LoBiondo while Frelinghuysen, Garrett, Lance and Smith voted yes.
With legislators calling the sequester the law of the land, now is the time to be vigilant to ensure that the next round of cuts is not implemented.
It is now more important then ever that we make the case to our congressional delegation that the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) is necessary to continue to create affordable housing in NJ.
