Kristina Portella joined Monarch Housing Associates in July of 2020. Her responsibilities include providing support to CoCs, homeless planning, program and system monitoring through a racial equity lens, data analysis, strategic planning, and other tasks that can aid in the goal of ending homelessness.
Prior to joining Monarch, Kristina worked in direct care as a Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) Program Coordinator. She provided services to those with serious mental illness (SMI) experiencing homelessness.
She graduated with a B.S. from Kaplan University in Psychology and a M.S. from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Crisis and Trauma.
