Lisa believes that housing is a human right and is committed to advancing racial equity within communities and organizations. Lisa came to Monarch in August of 2020 with over 25 years of senior leadership working in nonprofit organizations. Prior to Monarch she served as Regional Director of Business Development and Program Manager for NJ at the anti-poverty nonprofit, Single Stop, a subsidiary of Fedcap. During her tenor she served as Faculty of Fedcap’s Leadership Academy.
Prior to Single Stop she served as Director of Homeless Outreach Program at the Mental Health Association of Morris County for almost ten years. She spear-headed and coordinated Project Homeless Connect, trained providers in S.O.A.R. for the state of NJ, expanded outreach efforts and directed a supportive housing program. She also served as Chair of the Continuum of Care (CoC) and collaborated with community providers on various CoC sub-committees to help improve homeless service delivery.
Prior to MHAMC, Lisa Co-Founded and served as Executive Director of Increase the Peace, a nonprofit agency organized to address issues of bullying and teasing within schools & communities. Lisa is a self-employed Leadership and Life Transitions Consultant at Izlind Integrative Wellness Center in Rhinebeck NY.
Lisa received a BS in Human Services from the University of Scranton, completed the professional credit program at Rutgers University towards a Masters in Social Work & most recently received a certification in Advancing Racial Equity from Columbia University.
